Balayage
We do not offer photo consultation as we need to assess your hair in person so we can advise and quote accordingly. All final quotes for Balayage are given on the day of the booked appointment which includes a consultation in the first 15 minutes of the appointment. Final price quotation varies according to length, thickness, level of stylist and end goal.
ViviD Salon by @DVColour has a 48-hour cancellation policy. All appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled 48 hours prior to the day and time of the appointment. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within less than 48 hours, you will be subjected to a non-refundable cancellation fee of $250.
A Balayage service will take 4-7 hours depending on your hair length, thickness and end goal. We recommend that you put aside the expected time for the day of your appointment.
At ViviD, our team is trained extensively by our salon master Diana Vivi. Our priority is your hair integrity. All the ViviD hair designers apply the specific DV Colour Techniques to complement your hair texture, porosity, and end goal. We recommend and advise booking a trim with all balayage and colour/chemical services to complete your look and maintain your hair integrity.

You do not need a consultation prior to your Balayage service appointment. We offer a Balayage consultation service for $25 that can be booked separately. But you will complementary consultation during your Balayage appointment in the first 15 minutes.
At ViviD we offer different levels of colourists at different starting prices to best suit your needs. Everyone on our team has been extensively trained by Diana Vivi to master the DV Colour Techniques and provide you with a lived-in seamless blend.
No two heads of hair are the same. There are many factors that take place. All Balayage/Colour services require different painting techniques to achieve your end result. Depending on your existing canvas, length, integrity, porosity, and end goal, you may resort in more than one session. The day of the appointment, our balayage experts will go through a thorough consultation covering everything you need to know about your individual hair needs.
Extensions

Allow for 3-10 days after your consultation for booking your installation appointment.
You will go through a thorough consultation given by our team of extension specialist. During the consulation, we will assess your hair, colour match, advise the best method for your hair texture and hair goals and provide a quote. We will go through the process required to maintain your extensions.
Expect to vibe with ViviD for 3-6 hours depending on the method chosen for your hair extensions.
Each client receives a custom coloring to match your natural or desired hair colour on the day of the consultation. This is all a part of the process and is included in your quoted price for installation.
Please Note: Colour is not included in the cost for your maintenance (Move ups). There is an additional investment if you would like to re-tone your extensions by one of our colour experts.
Every method of extensions lasts a different amount of time depending on the method you choose to go with. You will be given all the required knowledge on the day of your consultation.
Yes! If you require wearing your hair up, we will customize your extension method and placement to allow you to wear it in many styles. We advice to give your hair 1 week to 10 days after installation to start wearing your hair up.
Going on vacation with your extensions is not a problem but should you decide to go in any type of water where the pH level is different, your extensions are at risk for temporary damage, Change in colour, dryness, texture change. Please also keep in mind that sun block/sunscreen can cause a chemical reaction with your hair that might result in permanent damage.
Depending on the method you choose for extensions, with proper care, some methods can allow for hair to be reused and last between 8 months to a year while other methods do not allow the hair to be reused and provide a lifespan of 4 months. This will be further explained in your consultation.
Extensions are not damaging with the right installation and placement. It is important that you take care of the extensions using the proper home maintenance and products. Many of the times we apply extensions to clients with pre-existing hair damage or thinness and after removing the extensions you will notice healthy hair growth. This all depends on the way you take care of them at home. You will be instructed on all the knowledge needed to maintain your extensions during your consultation.
We only custom colour and zone tone extensions clients of ViviD salon. We cannot lighten and make extensions brighter, we can only create a seamless darker transitional blend, working in the colour level that the hair extensions are in. This is why proper colour matching is important during the consultatio
